AhlulBayt News Agency - One of the notorious leaders and the major Sharia Qazi (religious judge) of the ISIL terrorist group in the Eastern part of Hama province was killed in a car-bomb attack, informed sources said minutes ago.
"Abu Mujahid al-Ansari was killed in the explosion of a bomb-laden car in Aqayrabat region that is a main base of the ISIL forces in Eastern Hama.
No one or group has thus far claimed for the responsibility of the attack.
Reports said earlier today that the Syrian Army and National Defense Forces have launched a fresh round of joint operations and made a significant advance against the terrorists of al-Nusra Front and Ahrar al-Sham in the Northern, Eastern and Western directions of the recently terrorist-captured town of al-Zara.
"The Syrian soldiers and the popular forces are battling the terrorists in the Northern side of al-Zara, simultaneously, the Syrian army men have engaged in fierce clashes with the militants in two battlefields of power station in the Southern side of al-Zara and Jerjiseh in the Southwestern side of al-Zara," the sources said.
"The army's artillery and missile units, for their part, have opened heavy fire at the positions of the terrorist groups in the Central and Southern parts of al-Zara," the sources said, adding, "The Syrian government forces have remarkably advanced against al-Nusra and Ahrar al-Sham in the Northern battlefield of al-Zara."
